Search Mapping & Analysis - Invalidation Report

Invalidity searches are typically used either when a company (client) is accused of infringing a particular patent or when a client would like to manufacture/ sell a product that may infringe a patent. Invalidation searches may also be used in conjunction with IP management and evaluation searches while licensing, buying or selling a patent.

Invalidation searches include finding prior art that can render the patent invalid using anticipation or obviousness arguments. This prior art may be a patent document or a non patent document which will either destroy the novelty of the patented claims or will render them obvious when used along with other prior art documents.
