1) Patent Analyst

(a) Job Description:

The work involves the analysis of technology, products and patents to allow companies, both in India and abroad, to realize the true potential of their inventions. The work involves:

• Identification of inventions through extensive product and technology research and analysis
• Mapping of inventions to existing products and technologies to determine similarities and differences
• Freedom to Operate (FTO) analysis

(b) Desired Candidate Profile:
Incumbent must have a graduate degree in Mechanical, Electronics or Electrical Engineering. Experience is not a pre-requisite. However, one or two years of experience is desirable. In the incumbents, we are looking for:

• Passion to learn how things work
• Ability to understand difficult technology and articulate this understanding
• Highly analytical ability
• Excellent reading and communication skills

Also, the candidate should be willing to work from either New Delhi or Chennai.
